We may in the near future be taking on another task - welding. The person(s) will be our employees so will work to our RAMS and so on. The welding kit & consumables, however, will be supplied to us. If we have undertaken an RA that is suitable and sufficient, what else do we need to ensure/ have in place.

Training of your employees with the supplied equipment operation. Competence of your employees with the welding technique to be applied (do they have the correct code as necessary). Understanding the equipment inspection / maintenance regime and who/how to report defects.
Arrangements regarding acceptance and hand back of the equipment including agreements over what would/could be re-chargeable and the method for determining such amounts.
"Steel underpants" = photographing equipment condition at the start and end of site attendance.
