Looking to brush up on my knowledge of regs for construction vehicles using public roads between sites. Does anyone have good links, or guidance documents I could refer to that covers this. Primarily talking about FLT's, telehandlers in terms of licensing requirements, weight restrictions and age etc of operators.

The web link is a great document, but don't forget that there are other things to cover. Does your insurance policy cover you for use on a public highway? Does the vehicle meet the criteria laid down in Construction and Use Regulations in regard to lighting, indicators, number plate? An articulated dumper will require a CE group on the drivers licence as it is articulated. Not all licenses are equal, as an older person I have groups that many licenses issued post 2013 (Could have the date wrong), e.g. tractor, tracked vehicles, milk floats etc. Depending on distance between sites and distance travelled in a week you may have to please the people at HMRC re fuel type and Road Fun Licence.
