Hi, I wonder if anyone can assist me.
We have a colleague who is evidently incontinent (bladder and bowel) and has not been identified.
This is not an issue from an employment perspective, however the issue is that she has been disposing of her soiled products in the sanitary bin. We intend to approach this by providing a special waste bin in the disabled toilet (more privacy, enclosed washing area, will not advertise their problem etc) for her and would like to put up some discreet signage in all the toilets such as "Personal Care Bin" I have searched many incontinence sites but have found nothing along these lines, can anyone help point me in the right direction please

Don't you think the others will notice her using the disabled facility ? and so highlight she has some sort of issue?
Could these extra bins be provided in all female tolilets or ask all females to use both the female toilets and disabled ( to keep them in use and prevent them becoming a storage area etc - any old excuse). It may give her a reason to always use.
Just a thought as nobody else responded.

Nobody has incontinence issues purely as lack of control, there is an underlying medical issue as well.
Problems with the spine (L3/L4 disc herniation) frequently lead to lack of bowel/bladder control...untreated that can lead to much more serious problems.
Identifying the person is a reasonable consideration.
