Hi just trying to find the legal requirment to using the hilti type fastner gun on a building site. Its been a while since I was on a site and was advised that you now need a firearms certificate. Could someone please verify I do have a shotgun certificate is this what is required? Thanks very much .

Your beter going onthe website for Hilti as there are a number of types but I just looked through these operating procedures and it didn't say that you needed a licence.

Nope checked the calendar and it is definately not April 1st - probably a a communications issue where the site operator to protect itself wants a Hilti training certificate to demonstrate competence.
