I'm looking for recommendations for good safety audit software that we can utilise to record and issue reports following H&S site inspections. We're looking at Site Audit Pro just now but my intial thoughts are its a little basic.

Any recommendations would be very much appreciated

Also use iAuditor, you can use it on your phone and create specific audits pretty easily.

Hi Martin

Have a look at Hastam's evaluation  and audit softwear.

They have a 25 year history of producing good stuff with academic validation and it's practical too.

Regards

Mike

I have used iAuditor in the past, it's quite adaptable depending on how far you want to take your audits and relatively simple to use. I'd say it depends on what you want from an audit, if it's basic reporting then you can't go wrong with it.

Following recent updates to the iPAd version of iAuditor allows for quite advanced audits. You can use smart fields, weighted repsonses and it creates pretty deep analytics. I use it alot, its very good.

Hi,

I tested a fair few over the past 12 months at my old employer and none of them ended up doing exactly what i wanted.

Best solution i found was to create an Excel based audit and then use this on an Android tablet via the Excel app. It also worked well on my iPhone 6 plus.

This way the audit was 100% customisable to what we needed in terms of layout, look, content and the way it worked and, best of all, didn't cost a penny!
