Hi All,
As part of my H&S training for bakery staff I would like to re-iterate to them the dangers of rollers in a bakery by showing them a video or images of what happens or can happen if they trap their hands/armes or pieces of equipment between the rollers on machines.
Does anyone have anything or know where I can obtain any images or videos?
Thanks
Tony

Create the images yourself using a sausage?
Make sure you have a safe method of work to keep your fingers out of the way though!

As a general point, it's well known that 'scary images' are not very effective at aiding behaviour change - which is why such posters are no longer available, when once they were common. However, that doesn't mean you are wrong to try in this particualr case.

imwaldra - can you justify the use of 'well known'?
Whilst I agree there can be a degree of 'switch-off' if confronted by too much gore, I beleive used approprately it can be effective.
The Canadians and Australians have both had some pretty good campaigns in the past, with their adverts, such as Worksafe and Prevent-It.
All to be found on Youtube of course.

How about this one and edit it down to just use the sections about the girl in the bakery?

Hi All,
Sorry for the late reply this has been due to unforeseen circumstances!
Thanks to you all for your input on this request, my presentation to some staff will now make it a bit more "real" Tony
