Just wondering what systems people are using for their online risk assessment / risk management.  It would be good to find out the pro's and con's of each, the industry you work in and the number of users.  My organisation currently has a largely paper based system but we are keen to move to an online system to enable central storage/access and to formulate a risk register, statistics and reports.  Any advice or information would be appreciated.

Sorry to badger a new user but please explain in more detail what you mean by ‘online risk assessment system’.

Are you referring to the packages that many employers use ( including mine) to kick start the DSE process? If so yes they are a good starting point but you will need the human touch at some point.

Are you referring to the packages that companies promote as ‘solving’ your COSHH needs which just take information from an SDS and repackage it under the name COSHH risk assessment? Waste of time and money, in my humble opinion.

Or something else?
