Hi - quick question, does a small shop fit-out (shelving, decorating, new flooring etc) come under CDM?, 4 days work only, max; Construction Phase Plan etc.

JHF - in short, yes

Decorating, new flooring would each constitute "construction work" within the meaning of CDM

(a) the .......alteration, conversion, fitting out................, redecoration.................of a structure.

Thanks Peter. The work is being done by contractors, small outfit, probably best is I completed a plan for them, have a simple template already printed - just asks for basic answers to various key areas.
