Afternoon & happy new year to you all!

I will be running some training sessions in the near future for my colleagues and would lik to do some group exercises where we look at some real life H&S prosecution scenarios and what the outcomes were. I would like to get them to analyse the incident and state what they think the issues were, root causes etc & who would be prosecuted, but was wondering if anyone had any scenarios that they have used before for a similar thing?

If you're happy to share these with me, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance & best regards

Rick

Rick I run a lot of inhouse courses with a range of different engineers, working in different fields. What I use is some real life sceanrios that they are likely to come across as tyhe case studies. I get them to send me some "horror" photos and we use that to tease out the hazards/ risks etc. Also if you focus them on thinking about how the job could have been better planned rather then a "potential" legal consequence it can have a positive net benefit. Just my thought! Jonty
