How come when the home page shows that I am 'logged out' I can still post messages...
Since the latest site up date, the log in to the site hasn't worked properly.
I can apparently 'log in' go to a discussion thread, but I'm not shown as logged in.
IOSh need to sort the website out!!

I agree.
I logged in to look at 'My IOSH' then followed the Forums link.
I'm not showing as 'Logged in' at the top of the page, however I'm listed as one of the logged in members at the foot of the page.
Oh, and I'm typing this so I must be in!
In fact, how can I Log Out, when I'm not logged in?
Despite closing the window and then reopening it, I'm still logged into the forum.
This is frustrating.

Glad it isn't just me.
Makes you wonder what testing IOSH and the IT guys did after the last up date to the website.
It remains a fact the log in / out function isn't working as good/smoothly as it used to.

Nope me too The site seems to have automatically logged me out at the top, but still showing my name at the bottom. I can still see the members section where I was a minute or two ago and able to type this reply. I have noted this before and even if you close your browser an then re open the internet and come back to this site your name is still shown at the bottom ! I'm sure they are working on the bugs following the extensive improvements. By the way I'm using Chrome as this site would not work with IE. Windows 7 Chris

There is a login problem. I could not login. Judging by the fall in the number of posts I guess I'm not the only one. I was sorted out by Webhelp@iosh.co.uk, first of all I had to login from the IOSH home page not the forum. That caused a crash and error message because there was no record of my date of birth. This has now been added manually by IOSH.
I hope the above will help others suffering the same problems.

For information, this has already been logged by the IT team and has been added to the snagging list. Should you have any other technical problems with the website or forums then feel free to raise them via webhelp@iosh.co.uk. Regards Moderator 3
