There has been a rapid spread of Chronic Wasting Disease across North America since 2000.

Exported to South Korea with 125 elk.

Six cases identified in Norway in 2016 but confined to small area and the Norwegians seem to have been very proactive in making sure it doesn't spread.

Message - if you go over to North America make sure you get footwear and outdoor clothing thoroughly cleaned before returning to UK or Ireland.

We don't want a repeat of the failures to control various non-native species!
