Can any colleagues please advise on locations/contact details of Tier 5 HAVS assessment centres?

As "Tier 5 is optional and involves referral of the employee for certain tests for HAVS. The results may help the doctor assess fitness for work" I would recommend that an occupational health specialist is involved or referral to a GP. It is in my opinion, strange that such a high tier is "optional" however I would proceed with caution in order to satisfy such requirement. Due to the vast amount of OH specialists and GPS available it would be difficult to recommend without your current location but with this guidance I hope that you can find the adequate assistance. And for the initial phases of examination always go for an occie nurse lead not doctor lead service if possible as its much cheaper and U have just as much skill and information available

In my early days [mid 90's] of looking at this subject there were very few occie health nurses and even fewer occie health doctors at our disposal who had any idea about HAVS and I worked UK wide with the HSE's first specialist [an x Parsons engineer]

best of luck

Tier 5 requirement arises as a direct result of Occ Health specialist intervention and recommendation. I'm not taking this lightly. Tier 5 is likely to be £££ and is beyond the scope of usual occ. health providers.

I'm looking for UK Tier 5 providers. I know they're thin on the ground.
