Our external auditor has recommended a publication ISO9001:2015 for small enterprises ( its forSME's)  to help with the transition from the old version to the 2015 version. He said that it covers 9001, but the issues would be the same for 14001 and eventually 45001. It costs 38 CHF ( about £30)

Anyone bought it?

Is it any good?

Regards

Chris

I would expect the auditor to have provided a bit more assistance. I have always been told in detail what sections are required including changes. Did the auditor explain (in more detail) how to comply to achieve the standards? Please note that although I have an understanding of ISO9001, 14001 and 18001, I would not consider myself an expert in this area Regards

I agree with Gary.  Our external auditor provided us with a transition guide that explained each of the changes to 9001 and asked us to document how we were going to implement each one.

I wonder if the external auditor is also the author of the recommended publication?!

As already stated, they could have been much more helpful.

Chris

PM me with your email and I will forward a transition gap analysis for ISO14001, very similar for 9001 and also for 45001 if we ever get to that one!

The auditor has only said minimal things about the changes to the standards. We do still have a year and a bit to go. I Noted to the auditor today that others were given more guidance for the transfer and he said they were not allowed (Not sure if he meant his org or total) and were not really supposed to recommend publications. I guess lots of money to be made by auditing companies with training so do want to be too helpful.

The publication is from ISO themselves!

I obviously can't say the name of the company, but when we changed to them there was a saving of just over £8k in the three years, so £30 for a booklet is worth it!

Thanks Jonty I will PM you.

Regards

Chris
