Anyone have a certified system to the new standard? Interested in how the risk & opportunties have been identified and linked into the system. I'm currently looking at transitioning, and its the old "can't consult" " there is no wrong way" by the CB. Hopefull that someone out there will have gone through the hell already and maybe able to shed some light on how they addressed it. I was thinking of linking into Aspect & complaince evaluation matrixes, and adding a risk & opportuinutie identified colum & actions required to acheive intedned outcome of EMS. Thanks in advance!

We havent gone through the transistion to 14001:2015 yet however, we will be holding a workshop day with all stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities and share the ones we have already identified with them. I believe we will be creating a risk register for each site and corporatley which will identify risks and opportunities, for the risks we will score them on a RAG status. When red they will go into the business risk register for Senior Management to review and own.
Hope this helps!

I did what Georgia did,
I've just moved from a small company and I set up their 14001:2015 system. I had a meeting with all stakehodlers and moved through the business process from thendering for work up until after completion to identify all risks.
Not a fun task and difficult to get everyone enthused about but I thought that was the simplest way fo doing it.

If you're struggling to get started in identifying risks and opportunities relating to the macro environment, then I suggest using a PESTLE analysis or a SWOT. Start this on your own and then gradually bring people on board who will have different ideas and viewpoints. The end result should be a pretty accurate list for you to work with. We have integrated these tools into all our management systems and will continue to do so.
