Good afternoon all,

I have two employees that have very broad hands, they struggle to fit in size 12 gloves,

Have tried variuos makes, has anyone anyone had this problem before?

They use 4.5 inch grinders

Any help would be appreciated

Kind regards

Angelo

Hi, I have had a similar problem. Luckily, my suppliers are always on hand and willing to assist. They sourced larger gloves so problem solved. I recommend that you contact your suppliers or simply search online for larger sized gloves that meet the standards. Regards

Good morning gents,

I have bought size 12 riggers from two different sources,

Should have been clearer in my original post, after something larger if possible, we have a national account with cromell, but to be honest they have been pretty poor as they are not a stock item.

has anyone sourced anyting bigger than a size 12?

The two chaps in question have hands the size of small shovels !!

Thanks for the replies, it a bit of an odd one

Kind regards

Angelo

Hannah,

Did you manage to source rigger gloves larger than a size 12?

If you did do you have the contact details for the company you used,

All of the ones I have contacted have said they do not go larger than a size 12.

Kind regards

Angelo

I've just found out that XXL gloves are size 12, so not sure what would come after that, I've tried calling a few suppliers and they all say either size 12 or xxl is the largest they can find.

I'm thinking unless we can find a manufacturer who can create these massive gloves then these Giants that work for us will just have to make do!

The majority of gloves in the UK are manufactured outside the EU mainly china so getting massive gloves made may be pretty expensive unless you buy them by the container load ??

Just did a search on XXXL and got this

https://www.amazon.com/KONG-KRIG-07-XXXL-Rigger-Mens-Gloves/dp/B016PP6A98

Not cheap, but availible

or

https://www.grainger.com/category/mechanics-gloves/gloves-and-hand-protection/safety/ecatalog/N-mlpZ1z13km0

also not Rigger but nitril palm with material back

http://www.bestworkwear.co.uk/workwear/work-gloves/to-fit-size-/hand-size-xxxl.html

When searching think American !!! and force results to have XXXL

Cheers Chris / Gerry,

I bought a pair of the Kong Gloves, its the distance across the knuckle that is the problem, They are a lot bigger in the finger and thumb area but simliar in size across the top of the hand.

Currently the two gentlemen in question use second hand gloves that have been stretched by use.

They take them home and wash them before using them however this is not the best solution.

I have also tried the Irwin and dewalt reinforced glove in xxxl

I am going to take a picture against my girly hands so you can see the difference

Cheers for everyones comments so far, its a bit of a strange one

Kind regards

Angelo
