Rank: Forum user

Hi guys
does anyone on here have any experience of using the Tetra system for securing ladders and keeping th euser safe while working from the ladders (harnessed onto the ladder, the ladder secured back to the building to prevent slippage)
or do you know of any similar systems?

The principle is fine but in practice it can be unweildy and a time consuming exercise. With or without the Tetra system you can secure a ladder with an eyebolt and strap, then clip on your karibiner to the rung of the ladder for 3 points of contact. The problem being some operatives will not bother to do it.

Colosianns - does it give you confidence that should the man fall off the ladder is secured enough to take his weight and not fall over?
