Looking for advice...

Could I use a method statement as an activity for producing an in house H & S publication. Or are IOSH looking for say policies or SOPs.

Thanks

I'm assuming you are referring to SDP Criteria 3.2? If so, then I would stay away from method statements - this criteria is looking specifically at health and safety campaigns or publications - such as identifying an issue and then the manner in which you went about addressing it or making changes, for example through the use of newsletters, briefing notes or email campaigns. Its not looking at assessment of hazards, nor how to carry out a task/job safely.

If you're still struggling get in touch with IOSH and seek an IPD Mentor.
