Hi Everyone

Has anyone sent any of their supervisors or managers on this course run by EEF.

Health and safety training for managers and supervisors - 2 days

If so do you feel they provided enough information for a manager, to be able to manage safely?

Did you consider this course sufficient to stand up to scrutiny externally, let’s say by the HSE to be suitable and sufficient for a manager to run a business workshop and small group of people?

Why did you pick this over the longer IOSH 4-day course?

Did you consider other general Manager related courses, and what was the deciding factor?

I have had training by EEF previously and it was very good, however I also did go on a short one day course, which was not quite as advertised (though they did sort this out for a couple of us who complained).

I have no link to EEF, other training providers / courses are available (though I’m struggling to find them)

I appreciate this is a long shot

Chris

There are many reputable companies, which provide health and safety training services to supervisors and safety managers. Pursuing the short-term health and safety training courses offered by these organizations enable you to become aware of the various aspects of workplace safety management. I personally have pursued the safety training course from one of such organization and must praise on the insight they provide on workplace health and safety. You can get the details of these training companies from the internet sources.
