I am supporting 200+ staff across several sites in the UK, my initial thoughts are to develop safety culture and ownership, creating a safety network/committee, training & competence also ensuring legal compliance.

hse have published their's, perhaps a start and structure are there.

iosh have one too, they are looking at reducing work related ill health

do you have a management system? - iso18000 now, transition to iso45000?

look at occ health, cancer, ageing polulation, new employee sourcing? brexit challenges

swot analysis, pestel, comparison with business plans and iso9000 adoption

gdpr regulations coming 2018, upcoming future regs, apprentice levy,

what changes are facing the business and how are we going to deal with them?

business continuity, disaster recovery, it issues, backup, succession?

pick some topics?

If you manage to persuade 200 people how to own health & safety, please come back & tell me how....

I'm going for legal compliance first, building up alliances and then baby steps - some people will never accept that health & safety has anything to do with them....
