Is it legal in Spainish health and safety / construction, to hold waste water, sewerage and rain runoff all in a container underground, with a lid on the container which only activates to a macerator when a set level is met, the macerated residue is then dissapated. In my view there is a chance of stagnation and a cesspool scenario being achieved, it could potentially contaminate land if the lid comes adrift and then attract insects.Young kids in the area - who knows what might happen? Reason for asking is a friend of mine is having a villa built and believes the sewage should be macerated at source with a chemical toilet.
