Good morning. I wonder if there is any English standard concerning workers working alone. I mean, who controls a control room without any other people present. Night Guardians, Environmental Inspectors ....

Anybody could please help me?

Thanks.

I did a quick search for "HSE lone working" and clicked on the first one that wasn't an advert (!) to find the following...

There is a guidance note referred to on the page (INDG 137) that may prove useful

Whether someone is classified as a lone worker will depend on the risks and whether suitable controls can be put in place to reduce those risks. So, someone working in a control room alone may not be a 'lone worker' per se if they are secure, have access to communications to summon assistance, etc.
