I have been asked to conduct a risk assessment for a FLT operator who has been diagnosed with level 3 hearing difficulty, after being referred. Basically o Ness to assess whether thjeir hearing is sufficient to hear warnings and instructions etc. Anyone have any pointers as to distances etc or what I should be looking at as this is new for me.. thanks

Don't forget that you will also need to make reasonable adjustments to the workplace eg can visual warnings instead of verbal ones be used?
