Just wondering if anyone has ever requested to have F2508A rescinded or amended when an inital diagnosis of an occupational disease has been changed to a non-reportable condition (ie. went from CTS to a trapped nerve)?

if you have, what process/procedure is involved with this? Obviously as a business its preferred the disease is not recorded against the company.

Never had to do it but I would contact HSE with all relevant references for the registration etc and tell them that the diagnosis has been amended.   Never go by a GP diagnosis - they have got is wrong in relation to two of our employees in the past 6 months.  Always wait for the definitive diagnosis from a hospital consultant backed up by appropriate test results before you fill in the form.

You just submit a new F2508 with the new diagnosis stating the original reference number and the HSE will update their system
