I have just completed a MHFA course, and we are looking at rolling it out to all Supervisors, they are the ones that know the employees best, and are usually their first point of contact, so are best placed to provide the help needed.

Hi Carol

Thank you for reponding.

Could I ask how did you decide on this population? Was there a selection criteria? Have you thoughts about you support the MHFA and any MI?

Hi After completing the MHFA course, we chose to provide our Supervisors with the MHFA lite rather than the full MHFA. This is a half day session which is more managable from a staff resource issue. From this we received feedback from those who attended the course and then decided to offer the full MHFA to those who had completed the lite course. We can provide councilling to any of our staff who require it.
