One of the topics at the top of the agenda at present is security risks. How do you stop people from deliberately contaminating the water supply?

Any construction related job, I would expect you to have a good understanding of CM2015 and how it might apply to water in particular.

OK Mike - more areas for research!! COMAH - some water treatment works are major hazards Reservoirs Act as amended - dam safety and relatively recent legislative change from requirements dependent on hazard (ie the maximum volume of a reservoir) to a risk based approach Classification and management of confined spaces. Water UK national standards Training needs include water hygiene - DOMS Construction as indicated above include mobile and multi-site works Remote locations - all sorts of topics including access, biohazards etc ...and the opposite - working where issues such as lone worker safety are important
