Does anyone know of an emergency alarm system that can raise and receive emergency alarms and provide real-time tracking?

We currently use an infra-red system and this has a number of limitations. We trialled a wi-fi enabled system and the location tracking was off by up to 30 metres and we got floor hopping.

I am investigating an RTLS system currently but I was wondering if any of you guy's know of a system in place and operating effectively?

Fire

Toxic gas

Flammable unignited gas release

Critical plant stop/shutdown

Lone worker alarm

The alarm is for an emergency staff response. It has to be capable of location tracking the source of activation (staff pressing alarm unit) to exact room level ( building has over 1000 rooms). We have an infra-red system installed and could just expand but we would rather look at all options available before spending on a system that has known issues.

If anyone has seen something like i describe you might let me know and I can investigate further.
