Hi All
A little advice required from any experienced DGSA. We are collecting waste products from hospitals including ethanol, formaldahyde, ethanol, Xylene. Theses will be in 5 litre containers. The plan is to load these into UN approved Dolavs for bunding purposes.
We are also delivering new chemicals to the sites at the same time. These will be on pallets in 5 litre containers and shrink wrapped. Is this acceptable?
I am a new DGSA and this has been thrown at me at very short notice! Any advice or things to consider would be greatly appreciated. I think we are doing things correctly but I have nobody to bounce things off.
Thanks

You need to look at this as a mixed load and check for any restrictions based on hazard class etc.. Also check the special provision information for the waste that you collect to see if there are any restrictions or segrgation rules that apply. Finally don't forget to check the chemicals that you are delivering are any of these classed as DG with any mixed load/segregation rules.
