Not seen this mentioned anywhere else but the latest revision of EH40 is now available on the HSE site. A few new additions to substances with WELs and STELS. One that caught my eye was Diacetly, present in the coffee roasting process. Gives rise to Popcorn Lung or Bronchiolitis Obliterans. WEL is 0.07mg/m3 and the STEL is 0.36mg/m3. Will everyone be digging out their COSHH assessments and reviewing against EH40? http://www.hse.gov.uk/pUbns/priced/eh40.pdf
