Hi All, I am looking for some advice on what equipment any of you may use of have experience in with regards manual handling activities. The activities usually involve carrying a heave item down a flight of stairs or lifting the item into the back of a van. The largest item could weight around 50kg-60kg and is 800mm x 800mm in size. This is not a regular occurrence but it soon will be. We currently send an additional driver to assist. I have been looking around ad there seems to be a few different stair climbers but that may only solve the issue of getting the item down the stairs and to the van. Have alook at the Genie Load Lifter - I think it can handle stairs - if it does then it will probably be a good option - not the cheapest but would hopefully allow the load to be transported safely? I'd be asking for a demo from a supplier?
