Something that I'd never really given much thought to - I've visited areas where it is routine to deposit mobile phones, keyless car fobs etc before touring the area. Someone queried if hearing aids should also be left behind.

Raises at least two points: how real is the risk involved in taking your mobile or keyless car fob around these places, and would leaving hearing aids behind because of the explosion risk (or whatever) introduce a potential issue of not hearing communications and alarms?

Anyone have any real and authoratative information on this?

Thanks

P.

Its usually ok to wear hearing aids in Zone 2 areas but not Zone 1 or Zone 0. BEEN60079-14 refers.
