Hi All,

We have just completed the transition audit to ISO 45001 after a year of preparing and hard work.

I must say it did help me implement a lot of improvements over the year specifically around the leadership side of things.

Do you have the new 14001?  If so, did the work you did with interested parties, risks and opportunities, and all the new requirements under the Annex SL framework piggy back you into 45001?

Hi Hilary,

We transitioned to the 9001 / 14001 2015 standards last year and that really helped with gaining the 45001 and cut down on the work load needed.

Some of the key areas for transition was the leadership so we had our board reporting mechanisms, objectives / kpi's and our Visible Felt leadership program which covered the leadership key areas. Having our employees involved in inspections, improvement practices and accident followups also demonstrated compliance.

I didnt get too tied up in the annex SL as it basically made things easier rather than more complicated. and again we had covered for our 2015 standards.

Hope this helps

Roy

Hi

I have our Stage 1 audit booked for 12th and 13th November and am just wondering how you demonstrated communication, our company is made up of a small head office team and then a mobile workforce placed on client locations and we have difficulty with communication and things getting lost in translation.

Any surprises during the audits?

Thanks
