Hi all, I've come across a number of out of date first aid supplies (enought to fill two medium sized boxes including - but not limited to - crepe bandages, elastic roller bandages, sterile eye wash etc); I'm currently in the process of replacing them but I don't want to just stick the out of date (unopened) supplies in the bin (as that would feel like a massive waste). I contacted St Johns Ambulance to see if they would want them (free of charge of course) - because I read that historically they were used in third world countries - but they said they don't take them any more. After a few Google searches, I couldn't find anywhere that would take them; is there anywhere that might want them or am I left with the option of just sticking them in the bin? Thanks.

I work for a training provider and I know that we would welcome any out of date bandages for our first aid training courses. I am sure that any local companies you know would be happy to take them off your hands, surprised St Johns did not?

Like others have said we donate ours to local first aid training provider, Brownies or Boyd Brigade groups for use in their first aid training.
