Is anyone having problems accessing the HSE website? Me and colleagues are unable to access from work or private computers as it comes up with error message 404 not found.  Does anyone know if it is techincally down or been hacked?

It's down for 'essential maintenance'. They posted something earlier on LinkedIn. Jay

I've been trying to get on this afternoon - it was being a bit temperamental - throwing up various different 404 pages, etc. Some pages were working, others weren't. I didn't manage to get what I needed. Hopefully they get it back up soon.

Also I have looked at the HSE Books website and the option of a free down load seems to have gone!

Yep looks like you are going to have to pay for it now, I'm afraid. There is already the e-book option, which take you thorugh to the likes of amazon and is slightly cheaper than printed, but alas just another tax on industry if you ask me.
