Hi all, given today's disruption at gatwick, what are risk assessments for drone use (unathourised) mitigation measures that you have considered, (and intend to look at).
thanks

The Army EOD and Search teams have electronic means to block these signals, so this has dragged on for far to long.

The signals don't work on pre-programmed flight drones thayt are not reliant on remote control

The BBC have an article on the issue, which includes using eagles to take down drones mid-air !

My preferred option is to use a drone to catch/disable a drone by using a net that can be deployed. It is safer than shooting one.

I attended a seminar with a drone instructor from Essex Police, he talked about the eagles and falcons, a large number have been retired/ put down due to the injuries sustained from the drones.
