Why is the forum button link so hidden on the new website? Surely it should be at the top of the home page??

thanks 2 users thanked Ian Bell2 for this useful post.

I liked it -at least it was distinctive not the bland pale corporate blueness everybody is moving towards. All website nowadays seem to have the same corporate guff and meaningless platitudes telling customers and stakeholders that this website, won’t do anything other than generate feelings of calm.

If you type in forum.iosh.co.uk and click this takes you straight to the forum section of the website.

I don’t see much future for this forum: when you use the search function on the new website and type in ‘forum’ or ‘forums’ you get lots of corporate stuff but no the good old forums where we can vent our spleens . I blame the Daily Mail.

Ok seen it now. Why wasn't it put there in the first place?

Howver I must say, this type of chat forum is now so out dated in its style and capabilities.

A leaf should be taken from social media and allow uploading of documents etc, so information can be exchanged.

Although that does open up a can of worms in terms of moderation and copywrite etc.

For me this move has been poorly notified by the dept responsible and accountable so I think the relevant director really needs review how and why the planning has been so poor. The last major changes were far better managed.  I am told also that the steering party for this change had decided by a majority on the new layout.  Seems members did not have a say.

The members are only important for the funds, nothing more
