Hi all, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am trying to find out whether such a course exists that would provide me with the competency to carry out visual inspection of lifting accessories? Basically, we have a number of metal stillages we use, that whilst we have type tested to determine their WWL/SWL, need to be visually inspected periodically. Because they can all spend a number of days and week off our site at customers, its not practically (i.e. becomes fairly expensive) to keep asking the contractor we use - for TE work - to come in and carry out visual inspections. I want to be in a position where I can carry out visual inspections myself so that it can be done as and when they return from other sites.

So, does such a course exist that would allow me to do this? If so, any particular recommendations?

Thanks.
