Hi, this is a new one on me. I have come across a scaffold errected near an electric fence. Is there any guidance relating to scaffold and electric fences. I cant find any anywhere.

The scaffold is retaining a wall, the scaffold will not be accessed but works will be carried out near to it.

Thanks

10v?

Electric fences are typically a car battery 12/14v or a regulated supply anywhere between 2Kv and 10Kv.

What is the purpose of the fence (cattle control or other)?

Can the field be emptied for duration of the works (and by inference the fence switched off)?

How "near" the electric fence is the scaffold?

Could a temporary distancing/barrier fence be installed?
