Coming across a problem with lifting chains. Finding that it is hard to read the engraved details on the chains. Has anyone come across a better way to ID lifting chains or engrave onto the chains better so you can see all the details needed such as SWL Inspection date etc.

We use stamped metal "dog tags" where the original manufacturer disc has been lost.
