Hello,

I am just after soem advice.

I am looking at reviewing our processes and risk assessemtns around proof load testing (testing of lift points) in a fabircation and weld environement.

Can anyone point to a guidance document or standard to help inform this review?

I know LOLER covers some basic points, but was wondering if there was soemthign more specific.

Regards,

Not my area of expertise but a standard I have seen referenced is DNV 2.7-3.

If you are manufacturers then LOLER is irrelevant to the product standard and safety requirements. It is user legislation. You are going to have to go to the relevant product directives (EU) & regulations (UK), and thus the harmonised or designated standards. What is the product?
