Hi,

Can anyone offer me some advice, I have been asked my a friend what Health & Safety regulations need to be addressed in order to provide Hot Pot to guests attending a charity gala night.

It is likely that the Hot Pot will be cooked at home, if this is the case would the 'cook' need catering qualifications?

I hope some of you out there can offer me some advice, I'm not overly familiar with food regulations.

Many thanks

Jay

Thanks for that link, however this is only a one off rather than a business venture, would these regs still apply?

Many thanks

The best people to ask are your local EHO's, some events will, and some events won't.

Totally agree with Ken - contact your local EHO, they are generally really helpful. Best to be sure, depending on the event, should anyone end up with food poisoning and they decide the regs did apply.
