Artificial Optical Radiation Directive (AORD)

As a company, we are about to purchase a new plasma coping robot. However, the two main suppliers (from different EU countries) have provided different solutions with regards to screening. The first company are offering a camera and monitor (to view the process), while the second are providing a 'Polarised screen'. The first supplier has said that due to legislation in their country (Germany) they cannot offer the 'Polarised screen' option. My question is - Does the above directive allow for polarised screens in this country (by risk assessment).
