Our engineering department have been asked to raise a perimeter guard off the floor for ease of cleaning (with a brush).
The guard was designed and installed to the relevant standards (BSEN953 - Design & construction of guards & BSENISO13857 - Safe distances to prevent hazardous zones being reached by upper & lower limbs)
Is there a standard/ACoP that states the maximum height that the guard can be raised off the floor while still maintaining the integrity of the guard?

Hi Bibman,

I imagine this should be referred to the manufacturer for appraisal/comment
