Dear all
I am working on a MH assessment which involves the handling of a stack of solar panels weighing 20 kg each from a box positionsed on the warehouse floor to a pallet placed opposite.
As the opertives dual handle these from the box onto the pallet, they have to lower the load. I seem to remember reading about a device which levels itself to waist height as loads are being placed on the pallet so that the operative does not have to stoop.
Can anynone point me in the right direction for some information on this device?
Regards SAS

I think you are thinking of a scissor lift table - does googling that help? They can be very good in that kind of situation.

What about a vacuum lifter? No bending, stooping or twisting then!

A scissor lift table is one option, another is raising the recipient pallet using a high lift powered pallet truck, which can then be lowered gradually to allow stacking of subsequent panels on top - then transferred to the next location.
