Good afternoon
I am looking for background information on the permissible noise levels inside the cabs of commercial vehicles.
I have some van users who are saying noise levels are too high when driving - I can measure them but need to know what to refer the measured values to.
Can anyone help with the relevant standards.
Thanks.

Yep, 2nd guru's advice. We refer to CNWR for our forklifts.

Afternoon
Refer to the CNW Regs as previos Memebrs have identified .... work on 80dBLAeq and 85dBLAeq weighted to a 8-hour shift period. Note, playing radios, opening windows, vent & fan noise, speed of the vehicle and road-to-tyre noise will all add to the problem together with the events that the drivers are exposed to when their are not driving need to be considered.
Regards
Noisy John
