I am looking at most effective way of presenting accident statistics and would appreciate any postivie feedback you have had from your woprkplace. I currently use excel and present in both text and graghical e.g trends. My predecessor used text to give brief details of accident and remedial action but no graphics. Has anyone a recommendation for any particlular software or method that has worked for them? I just want to produce something that is going to make an impact rather than hanging on a notice board with only a few bothering to look at them. We already discuss accidents and incidents at various forums as well. Grateful for any ideas.

Trend graphs are good, in the past I have added pie charts showing the type of injury, which types of workers have had the injury, body part, causes etc............

Don't forget to include as many practive and positive things as reactive / negative......eg safe days, No safe acts, how m,any jobs done safely, good inspections done etc............
