Advice required on mute gaps for power press brakes please, I've read various ACOP's and Guidance and find a little conflict with some of the information given. Does anyone know if the mute gap setting should be 6mm or 4mm? thanks in anticipation

Blue - have a look at indg316 (you can do a web search) it states that the top tool should be NO MORE than 6mm from the workpiece surface. hope that helps

Fun if the work has a decent amount of bend on it...... Fortunately you can adjust the tool-stop to make the gap exist....or nothing gets done !

Thank you Mallen & Johnmurray, you've confirmed my thoughts.
