I would stress, that although acheiiving membership of the APS (RMAPS) is now easier than before, being a competent CDMC is not about a few qualifications and ticking applocation boxes. I strongly suggest that all potential CDMC's question their own competence intently before applying for positions or freelancing. Please bear in mind that there are massive legal implications for both yourself and the client if you get it wrong.. not to mention the knock on safety effects your incompetence could have on the safety of all involved in the life span of the structure concerned.
