We have bought an inverter which comes under the pressure regs and has a certifcate of conformity. The test was done in Nov 2010, we bought the inverter in April 2011. Will I have to get it tested 1 year from the certificate e.g. this Nov 2011 or 1 year from when we bought it e.g April 2012?
Thanks Shaun

Could you expand on this? I am familiar with inverters in the context of electrical devices that convert DC into AC.
If it is a pressure system >250 bar litres or containing steam, then talk to your insurers about drafting up a written scheme of examination and go by their requirements as to its first inspection.

Its is a 450 Liner converter for underground pipeline rehabilitation and repair.
Vessel volume = 45.6 litres
Max working pressure = 0.96 bar (14 psi)
Safety valve pressure = 1.50 Bar (22 PSI)

The vessel is pressurised by a portable air compressor.
