I would appreciate your opinion on the following matter.

What is a suitable cover for PI Insurance, I currently have £250,000 and I'm starting to think this is a bit low...

Until this year's renewal I had £1m but my largest and important client has required me to increase to £3M, at very significant cost!

However, if left to my own devices I would have retained the £1M limit of indemnity. For the work I do I can not forsee anything going so wrong that the higher limit would be needed.

I went for £1m and think I'm covered for what I do.

steven - obviously it depends on the type of work you do. You need to consider who your clients are and what is the maximum type of loss you would be exposed to. £250k sounds on the low side to me. I have £1 million.
