Hi SW, You might also want to look across the public facing BBC Safety site, which is built on many years of industry experience: http://www.bbc.co.uk/safety/ Regards.

Hello On a practical note, also be aware that from personal experience I know some of the 'artistic' types can have some very strange ideas that are not entirely safe!

Thanks again to those that have replied - much appreciated. I have just started working with a media company that produces our safety DVD's and I know what you mean cliveg about those "artistic types"! Regards SW

SW, There is a comprehensive guide on the subject that can be downloaded from the Ontario Film and Television Industry. Google " Safety Guidelines for the film and television industry in Ontario". It is almost 200 pages long and covers almost all potential situations. Good luck. PH2
